UPROCK -2025-
We are making a positive change.
One of the best things about UPROCK is the fellowship—we love it and want even more of it! This year, we're switching things up by staying at a conference centre for two nights. That means we’ll get to spend even more time together, from breakfast all the way to midnight. In the past, attendees had to travel to and from the conference each day and go out multiple times for coffee, lunch, and dinner. But this year, once you arrive, everything is taken care of—no extra costs, no need to leave, just uninterrupted time to connect and enjoy the experience!
We're making it even easier to attend UPROCK by introducing flexible payment plans! You can simply pay $10 per week, making it easy to cover the full amount before November.
Frequently Asked Questions
What are the dates for UPROCK?
Fri 7-Sun 9 November 2025Where are we staying?
We'll be staying at Blue Gum Lodge in Springwood [Blue Mountains NSW], surrounded by a beautiful bush setting. The entire site will be exclusively ours, including the pool, indoor basketball court, auditorium, breakout rooms, dining room, dorms, tennis court, bush chapel, and campfire site. There’s also a relaxing, shaded outdoor area with plenty of space to unwind on the grass. Is it catered?
Yes, all meals will be provided by the conference centre: breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, supper. What is the cost?
This year the registration fee for adults is $250, which covers accomodation for Fri & Sat night, all meals, the concert, and all workshops. For younger age groups, costs are: High school students: $230, primary school students: $150, preschool and younger age: $65. Persons aged 17 years and younger must be accompanied by a parent or youth group leader. What workshops are happening? Details on the workshops will be progressively released as we confirm our speakers. Themes will include all elements of hip hop [breaking, graff, DJing, emceeing] plus new topics such as evangelism and ministry leadership. Can my spouse and kids come?
Yes. We want UPROCK to be a place that supports our families. If you have a spouse and/or kids, they’re more than welcome to come along—whether to enjoy a relaxing mini-break or join in on the UPROCK activities. If you have young children you will need to supervise your kids, but you’re welcome to team up with another family for shared child-minding.What is the accommodation like?
We will be staying in air-conditioned dorm-style bunk rooms, with up to eight people per room, allocated by gender. If you're coming with a group, you can request to stay in the same bunk room. There will also be a designated room for mums with primary school-aged kids to share.
To ensure everyone gets enough rest, there will be a set lights-out and quiet time. Anyone who wants to stay up later can head to a designated indoor area to hang out. If you're attending as part of a youth group, your youth leader will be responsible for late-night supervision arrangements. How do I get there?
The conference centre is located just a 15-minute walk from Springwood Station. If you're travelling from the airport, take the airport train to Central Station, then transfer to the country terminal and catch a Blue Mountains train. The journey from Central to Springwood takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. Interstate travellers won’t need to rent a car—everything is easily accessible by train. For those coming from Sydney’s suburbs, Springwood Station is about 30 minutes past Penrith. Once you arrive in Springwood, you'll find a grocery store and plenty of takeaway options nearby if you need a quick snack before heading to the conference centre. How do I book? You'll need to fill out a registration form (link below) AND either start a payment plan via bank transfer or buy your ticket in a single transaction through eventbrite (link below). Can I register before I start payments? YesHow can I raise funds to cover my registration?
- Run a BBQ at Bunnings or Woolworths
- Run a BBQ on the Federal Election day
- Go busking [check with your local Council if you need a busking licence – these are normally easy and cheap to get]
- Request sponsorship from your local church.
Please contact us for a copy of the template letter requesting sponsorship/BBQ.How to set up a payment plan?
We are strongly encouraging everyone to enter a payment plan or pay in advance so we can secure our booking at the centre and book international flights for VIP presenters. Here's how to set it up:
1. Log in to your online banking account
2. Choose the accounts you want to transfer money from and add in the payee: Krosswerdz, BSB: 082343, Account number: 191552763
3. Enter the amount you want to transfer
4. Under description and reference add your last name, or if booking as a group – your group name
5. Schedule an automatic, recurring payment. You can pay weekly, fortnightly, or monthly. If you pay $10 per week you can easily pay the full amount before UPROCK. A suggestion is to schedule your payment the day after your salary normally goes to your bank so you have sufficient funds each time. If you prefer, you can also make ad hoc payments – just be sure to add your name or group name as a reference.
